• Does anybody know why wp generates
tags when using the wp-tabs plugin? I can see the
tags in my live code but they are not visible when I am editing in html mode on a post.

In addition, when I delete the tabs from my post, the spaces seem to disappear. They appear in the top margin above my wp-tabs menu, as well as in random places throughout my wp entry.

If anyone knows how to get rid of these invisible, automatically generated
tags, I will be forever grateful.

    Thanks in advance!

I should also add that they seem to appear right after a <p> tag or right before a </p> tag.

First, identify which plugin you are using and then post in that plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository.

Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

Come to think of it, I don’t even have <p> tags in my original html… does anyone know how to stop wordpress from auto-generating those as well?

Do the ‘tags’ still ‘generate’ when you have the tabs plugin?

Hi guys, thanks for the fast reply. I have this problem when using wordpress in general, not just when using the wp-tabs plugin.

esmi, I can’t update the wordpress because it’s a company one and I don’t have permissions to do so (else I would have done it long ago). And I will also be posting in the plugins page, thanks for the tip!
