Automatic Transaction Fee

I only want to charge a credit card transaction fee when customers pay by credit card. I have set up a 2% fee under “Gateways Fees and Discounts Module Options” and everything seems fine.

The problem is when customers want to pay in full through GIFT CARD. On a desktop, the fee automatically removes as there is no balance to pay through credit card, however on MOBILE version the fee remains and hence customers have to use their credit card to pay a 2% fee after redeeming GIFT CARD?

For example this is the logic that seems to apply (only on MOBILE).
