    Hello,

I’m building a membership site with access gained through paid membership levels. I am using the free ‘Simple WP Membership’ (SWPM) plugin which manages the membership levels payment through WooCommerce and, after payment has been processed, emails the user with a once-off link to create a user record with their choice of UserName & Password. Once a User clicks on the link and sets up their details, their record is created by SWPM and they have access to courses based on their membership level. SWPM also handles all email communication with subscribers regarding their membership status.

For clients in the past, I advised this approach in tandem with TalentLMS (a separate paid-for cloud LMS), which provides a WordPress Plugin & API key to pull the new account details AUTOMATICALLY into their own records, effectively synchronising the WordPress User records with the cloud-based TalentLMS records according to their membership level.

That was fine when I was advising clients but, with COVID-19 hammering my business, I’m having to move my training online, but using a commercial cloud solution is expensive for a start-up. So I have turned to what so far seems an excellent plugin from Cluevo!

Now, to my question: Is there a way to tie in new user records AUTOMATICALLY to Cluevo membership, based on a membership level / type? I know it can be done manually but that obliges manual oversight of ALL subscriber applications. It would be great if there was some form of “handshake” between Cluevo and WordPress membership.

    regards,

    Hello ianmp,

we currently don’t have this functionality but we’re always looking for ways to improve our plugin. We’re going to take a look at how we could integrate with the membership plugin you mentioned and get back to you on that.

Thank you guys for your quick response. My site build is still in beta, so if you’re interested I’m happy to share examples of build and how I have attempted to integrate it with Cluevo.

In any event, I will continue to raise questions about existing Cluevo features (or my misunderstanding of them!) in the hope of making full use of your plugin.

I’m closing this for now. Feel free to open another issue if you have any other problems.
