Automatic Update for Existing Pro Customers

Hi Tim,
On your web site I saw your latest pricing table. When I bought pro about 5 months ago I did not see (or at least realize) that auto-update would cease after a year if one bought a single site license. I thought only the support stops not the auto-update. Can you clarify this issue? Would auto-update stop for folks who bought pro single site previously (June of ’15 in my case) when the year is up or ar they grandfathered?
