    Hello.

I’m using the premium version of this plugin and I set almost everything to auto update.

And I set the automatic update scheduling to happen every first day of a month.

The problem is that everything auto updates whenever a new version of plugin is available. And not once a month.

And, of course, I receive every email with the notice. The second problem is that I set update notification emails to notify me once a week. But I receive them every day.

    What should I do?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

Apologies for the delay and for the inconvenience caused.

It’s likely other plugin has interfered with the auto-updates schedule which you’ve set through the Easy Updates Manager plugin, not to mention plugins like WordFence also has their own auto-updates schedule that may randomly run in a different schedule.

Yes, it can actually happen and our development team is currently working on an improvement for this matter so that later EUM auto-updates schedule can’t be interfered by other plugins.

As for the update notification emails that doesn’t seem to work for you, I have passed this onto the development team so that they can investigate to see if there’s a bug in that feature.

In the meantime, since you’re using the premium version of EUM, we’d like to propose a workaround for the auto-updates issue you’re currently facing right now, which is a code snippet in a mu-plugin file that acts as filter that will prevent auto-updates event from being run outside of the schedule you specified (i.e. every first day of a month). Therefore, if you could contact us via our premium support, we’d be happy to provide you with the code snippet and assist you further.

    Thanks
    Anthon
