Automatic updates Blocked – will I receive notifications

    Hi

    if I have automatic updates blocked for a few plugins will I still receive notification if an update for a plugin is available?

    I wish to have most plugins update automatically, but need to manually update certain ones

    Apologies for the delay.

    I believe you’re referring to the Choose per plugin option under the plugin updates section right?

    which then on the Plugin tab, you enable the Blocked option for some plugins

    well, if you choose the Blocked option you will not receive the update notification for the corresponding plugin. However, if you wanted to disable automatic updates for several plugins, you could just turn the Automatic updates option Off, and kept the Plugins updates Allowed . That way the plugin would not get auto-updated but you would still receive a notification when updates available for that plugin.
