• First of all sorry for my bad language.

I think I have an good idea for resizing videos like some sort of thumbnail on your blog (homepage) and when you read the whole blog message post you will be able to see the full sized video 425 x 320 for example.

So you see your video in your blog overvieuw verry small at the left site.. so it has to be outlined to the left side aswell.

Viper’s Video Quicktags is the plugin I use for adding video’s to my blog and I want to create A video blog so it is good if the post is resized and u see a small video image.

I’ve looked a little in the code of Viper’s Video Quicktags. And I think it is possible to do… But I dont know realy how to do it.. Maybe someone has some experiece with this?

And maybe there could be added some rating tool aswell together with a top5 widget what displays the 5 best rated video’s and one that displays 5 newest videos or some like that.

Or a tool that places all YOutube video’s in an extra page… So you get some sort of video Gallery!

    Short version

    – resize videos in the front page to the left side.. text to the right side… So you can see the post contains a video!

    – Place posted video’s (video urls) to 4 place
    – Your post (normal 425×350 or so..)
    – Your resized post on frontpage (small 150×120 or so..)
    – Just the video with a link to the post in a gallery (small 150×120 or so..)
    – Widget top5 or new vids (small 150×120 or so..)

Hope you can understand what I mean? and I hope someone is able to make some like this… I think its usefull to a lot of people :)!

    Greetz

  • I’m actually looking for something similar to what you described.
I’m pretty sure there is a high demand for something like this, however I haven’t seen a good solution as of yet.

    Thanks,

    Zoomrix.
