    Hi
First – thank you for the amazing plugin. Much appreciated and well done.

Since installing the plugin, I received about 10 emails a day with notifications about site lockouts (either because they tried to many times or because they used user names that I defined as should be locked out).

I then manually add all these IP addresses to the “mywordpress2323##”.
Is there any way that all the blocked IP addresses could be automatically added to the Blacklist manager?

p.s.: how many fake login attempts are considered ‘normal’ per day? I seem to be getting about 30 a day (my website is a simple business profile website).

I’m not a programmer, so if there is a way and you could explain it simply, that would be wonderful.

Thank you and have a great day!

    Hi @david212121

There is no direct way you can add the locked ip address to Blacklisted IP.

If your site is popular it might be 30 invalid login attempts can be.

Are you sure those are not by bot ? do you have Brute force > Captcha enabled ?

Also if you have login page the standard wp-login.php and from there invalid login attempt is being tried you may rename the login page using Brute force > Rename login page.

    Thanks for the swift response!

I changed the standard login page. My website is not popular (unfortunately) ??
I’ve been getting about 100 fake login attempts every day.

    Any other suggestions?
p.s.: can you please remind me where I change the option of getting notified about all the lockouts. I’m getting about 100 emails a day.

Thanks again for your support. Not taken for granted. Have a nice day

    Hi @david212121

WP Security > User login > Login lockout tab – uncheck the checkbox Notify by email: and save it will stop sending you lockout notification email.

You can enable the captcha also ..

The premium version of plugin allows country blocking so you may disable the whole site being accessed from certain countries based on IP have login lockouts

    Thank you.
Not sure what part you play in the guys behind this great plugin, but it would be nice if you could convey the following message: most people don’t want to block entire countries, and it’s really time consuming copy pasting all the IP addresses (about 100 fake login attempts a day) to the BlackList. It would so cool if one or both of the following features existed:
    1. I could select to automatically add all the IPs that other people blocked.
    2. All the IPs from siteblocks are automatically added to the blacklist.
Thank you and have a nice day
