automatically changing images; what kind of script or tags?

  • I’m not even sure if this is possible but I would like to have two different images change on my site, automatically. I suppose the script would tell the image to update and cycle through a particular set of images every 30 seconds or so.

    Is this possible?

    If so, do you have any idea of where I might see examples of the scripting or tags that would make this happen?

    Perhaps there is a plug-in that does this? I’ve searched but found nothing.

    I’m trying to avoid using something like Flash to do this. There’s no real animation. Just two places on my site I want to atuomatically scroll though a particular set of images. Any help, suggestions, link or insight would be most appreciated.

  • There are various “randomizer” scripts on the script sites that would probably do this. There may be some randomizer plugins you could customize.

    Try a search for “random image replacement”….
