Automatically create Analytics Account and insert

  • Okay – this might be asking too much…but I just have to ask…

    looking for a way for whenever I create a new site, for it to automatically create log in to my Google adwords account, create a new analytics site, grab the analytics code, and insert it into my new site!

    That would be so sweet.

    Only possible if GOOGLE has a way to generate the site from outside.

    i guess that makes sense –

    any comparable wordpress plugins which can provide comparable reports to google analytics?

    Not that don’t involve you manually setting up the code on the other end. WordPress.com Stats, Jetpack, Woopra, and Google Analytics ALL require some work on their end to connect things.

    Why not use the same analytics code for all sites? Hook it into the footer and it will be auto-added to new sites.

    Good idea. Just curious, if I used the same analytics code, do you have any idea if the reports would be broken up by child sites? And is there any special setup required for this to work?

    Google may have a way to do that, if they’re subdomains, but you would need to do some research on that end.

    there’s a menu to drill down to for subdomains, and I can rarely find it. ??

    Aweseome – I’m loving WordPress more and more…

    I Was, just about to set it up using the Google Analytics Multisite Async, but doesn’t look like it’s compatible with WP 3.1. andy ideas?
