From what I’ve been able to discover, WordPress empties the Trash automatically after 30 days, but I have some orders in WooCommerce Trash that have been in there for over 30 days and they have not been permanently deleted.

Is there some way to get WooCommerce to automatically empty the Trash after 30 days as WordPress does?

I’ve got a green checkmark by cron in WooCommerce status, and as far as I can tell, all my cron tasks are properly running.

By default, WooCommerce does not have a built-in feature that automatically empties the Trash after 30 days as WordPress does. However, there are several plugins available that can help you achieve this functionality:

    • WP-Optimize – is a revolutionary, all-in-one WordPress performance plugin that caches your site, cleans your database, compresses your images
    • WP-Sweep

Furthermore, I did some research and found this article could be a good starting point: How to Limit or Disable Automatic Empty Trash in WordPress

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the quick response @xue28.

That is helpful information. I don’t delete orders often enough to make it worth an extra plugin. For now, I will be fine with the Empty Trash button.
