Automatically generate empty p tags when adding text in the editor

  • I have the same problem. When i change to html editor, all the html code is compressed. ?it is a problem of the plugin Classic Editor?

    Yes, I think this plugin. When I still use WordPress 4.9 it doesn’t have this error. After I updated to WordPress 5 and installed this plugin, it always generates an empty p tag at the end of the editor.

    I have experienced this issue as well.
