Automatically generate username from customer email automatically disabled

Hi Guys, I activate the option “Automatically generate username from customer email” in settings > accounts and it automatically gets disabled.
I’ve tried several time and remains the issue.
Running: Woocommerce 2.5.5
Wordpress 4.5.2
