    Hi,

Is there a setting to automatically purge browser cache when a file is changed?

If not, can it be added as a feature request?

I think it will be very easy implementing using the filemtime() function.

    It will be very useful.

    Thanks,
    Asaf

    Hi,

Could you please explain a bit of more specific what exactly do you want to do ?

for LSCWP optimized CSS/JS , they will , once generated minified/combined files are purged , new generation will give different file name.

For images, that’s default behavior for most webserver , you can try set expire or cache-control header to lower time or no cache at all.

    Thanks for your reply.

If I change a CSS file and save it to the server – will it trigger regenerating of the optimised CSS?

If not – that is what I’m suggesting

    Thanks,
    Asaf

    Hi,

If you have LSCWP on , with CSS optimization , like CSS combine , CSS minify …etc , you will need to purge CSS after you have edit it.

    As the screenshot
