Automatically scroll down to content
-
I’m quite new to WordPress, but I browsed and searched the Codex and Forum for an answer, but I couldn’t find anything.
I need an automatic scrolling or anchor funtion for a page I’m making. The site is located here: https://matiassaarukka.net/testsite
Since the header is so high the content is left out of view when you click the links for separate pages.
What I would like is to simply add an anchor tag to each link except the main page, so when visitors click PRESS the new page loads and displays the content farther down on the page.
This could be achieved with a simple anchor
<a name="anchor">
but WordPress won’t allow me to add the anchor to the page permalinks. It automatically removes # (ex: testsite/press#anchor).Does anyone have a good idea how this could solved?
