Automatically switching gateway based on currency

    I would like to set up GiveWP for a charity in Canada with bank account in the US,
    So they have a stripe account in Canada as well as a stripe account in the states.
    I would like to have that if they choose to pay in Canadian they will be using the stripe gateway that is with the Canadian account and if they choose to donate in USD it will use the US stripe account.
    I know it’s a bit complex, Just wondering if it’s at all possible.
    (the next thing would be setting donation receipt and email based on which currency they used as well, But that I think is really asking too much ?? )

    We do have an add-on called Currency Switcher that allows you to receive in different currencies. You can read more about it here https://givewp.com/addons/currency-switcher/

    And about the donation receipt based on the currency used by the donor, it’s not possible right now, but we are happy to analyze if this is feasible and viable. Although we do not have this feature out of the box, it would be interesting and valuable for us to understand how it would work for you and how it would improve your workflow, so the product development team has some insights about how it would behave.

    Also, is there any workaround that you are using? It would be good to hear from you about that too, and what this feature would allow you to do. All ideas are appreciated, and I’m happy to share your insights with the product development team so that they can discuss the feasibility of this feature.

    Looks like the currency gateway does some of what I am looking for, It does not seem to have the functionality where I can have 1 form, and if the person selects currency A They can only checkout with gateway A but if they choose currency B they can only checkout with currency B (Maybe it does and I’m missing something)

    Regarding the email and receipt I do not have a workaround.
    The reason I wanted this is that I am looking into this for a not for profit registered as a 501C3 in the US as well as a registered charity in Canada, They wanted donations in USD to receive a US tax deductible receipt with US IRS tax language and if they choose the Canadian Currency the donor will receive a CAD Tax Receipt with Canadian CRA tax Language.

    Not sure if it’s possible and I am sure there is not a big need for it but would be helpful for us.
