I’m building a Supplements shop for a client. I installed this since the client requires Spanish translations. The products on the site have unique product names and the plugin automatically translates those names even though the page isn’t translated. For example:

    Maca becomes Pussy
    Minelava becomes The Stage

Is there any way to disable these automatic and embarrassing translations?

    Hello,

yes, it’s possible to exclude those names. Taken from the FAQ:

How can I exclude some parts from being translated?

You should add the notranslate style class to the container HTML element. Or if you want to exclude just a piece of text, you should wrap it within a HTML element with the notranslate style class, for instance:

    <span class=”notranslate”>Company name</span>

    Hello,

Thanks for the reply. Since the one’s being translated are product names from woocommerce, how do I go about wrapping these product names with html?

    Hello,

    sorry for late reply!

Then you’ll need to modify woocommerce. I could better advice you if you send a link where these product names can be seen.

It’s been a week already, I’m marking this as resolved now.
