Automatically use fist image as Featured Image

  • I just moved my website from WordPress.com to self hosted. I uploaded the Button 2 theme and ran into an issue. The “Automatically use fist image in post” option under Featured Images is now missing. Any thoughts as to what happened? The option is available in the WordPress.com version of the theme. Anyway to get this back?

    Hi @alpinefisher – the “Automatically use fist image in post” checkbox is part of the Content Options panel in the Customizer. Content Options is available on self-hosted sites through the Jetpack plugin. This particular checkbox isn’t quite available in Jetpack yet, but we hope it will be included in the next version, scheduled for release in early August.
