    Hi Ryan,
I have a problem with the site post installing the latest plugin. Automated mailchimp emails are ceased sending since I have updated the plugin t the latest version.

Any advice on how to address this would be appreciated.

@mygreenfootprint did you happen to uninstall -> reinstall the plugin? If so you would have created a new store ID which would need these automations to be reconfigured.

Are you seeing the order data come through to your list, but it’s just the automation itself not firing? If so that’s the most common problem but we’ll wait to hear back from you first before adding additional possible solutions.

    Hi Rayan,
I updated plugin through wordpress update function. Orders are syncing but automations are not firing off since the plugin was updated.

@mygreenfootprint this seems pretty odd but we’ll need more information in order to help out. When you say automations, which ones are you referring to?

What was working correctly previously should still be working correctly in this version of the plugin. Have you talked with Mailchimp support about this, and asked them to look into your account so they can help debug?

    Hi Ryan,
    Automations now not working:

    – welcome new customer
    – order confirmation
    – abandon cart
    – follow up customer emails at specified times after order placed

All working fine before updating plugin.

@mygreenfootprint Can you please confirm whether or not the orders themselves are actually making it over into the customer profiles?

What you’re describing sounds as if the plugin just stopped syncing data. We’ve migrated to something called the action scheduler and I’m now wondering if you might have some settings that are preventing this from firing normally.

Can you navigate to the WooCommerce Status page, and look at the “Scheduled Actions” tab – there is a “pending” section and I’m wondering if you’ve just got jobs that are stuck there. If so we may need to do some debugging or set something up a little differently to get these to fire. Please do let us know and we can continue the conversation.

also @mygreenfootprint sorry – but if you could please send any Woo Fatal Error logs to ryan (at) vextras.com I’ll take a look at them myself. Please find the most recent log files by date to send the most recent errors. Maybe we’ve got something hidden in the trenches to look at as well with your server setup.

    Hi Ryan,
tried this seems there are no jobs being caught int he action scheduler. Please see attached. Screen shot attached. https://prnt.sc/pxl8jv

I have double checked mailchimp, and yes this is correct though orders are not making their way across.

@mygreenfootprint just wanted to follow up again – we were emailing back and forth but I’m still waiting on a response about re-creating your automations and trying the order / order updates again. Can you please verify that your Mailchimp automation is set up correctly to your current store?

    Thanks!

@mygreenfootprint thanks for sticking through this – and also your plugin rating. It’s much appreciated. Going to close this one out – but please do feel free to reach back out if you had any other issues come up.

For anyone else reading this, typically re-creating the automation after a fresh uninstall -> delete -> reinstall has been the solution for anyone that doesn’t have automations firing.
