autop not applied to HTML emails

  • Hi,

    since version 5.8 all emails sent in HTML format are not ‘autop’ even if “Send as HTML” is checked because the new filter ‘wpcf7_mail_html_body_autop’ checks ‘wpcf7_autop_or_not’ which we have been using for years only for displaying the front end form. This hook has never influenced email format…

    Does it is a misunderstanding, an issue or may I add to update my 50 websites ?
