Autoplay a podcast from an rss feed in WP. How?

  • Hi, I’d like make a wordpress site that is merely a player that streams the latest episode of a given podcast I feed it via RSS. I’ve browsed the web, but most plugins seems oriented the other way around (making a podcast rss feed, instead of using one).

    Any tips?

    What sort of content is in this RSS feed, will the RSS feed contain links to MP3 files that you want to extract? Or do you want to create MP3 files from the RSS feed?

    I’m not sure I understand WordPress’ role in this, this can be achieved with vanilla PHP or JavaScript, or even other languages by themselves.
