Autoplay and Related video

  • Hi,

    I would like to achieve that when a video is opened in the lightbox it autoplays and in the end doesn’t show related video’s.

    Normally this is done adding the &autoplay=1;rel=0 option or something like that to a url or shortcode. But I cannot get it done with the Responsive Lightbox plugin.

    Hope you can help.

    Compliments with the plugin. I like it a lot and it’s the only Responsive Lightbox that functions with my theme and with my theme’s shortcodes.

    I am looking for the same thing.

    Me too. The attributes are stripped from the URL. I love this plugin, it would be so nice if we could include them in the URLs without them being stripped out.

    Hi dFactory. It’s a little bit quiet on this ticket. I still hope for a reply. Can this be done with the current version of the plugin or is it possible to include the features in one of the next versions?

    Hi @chancecorbeil,

    It’s exactly as described above – if it’s a Youtube video you can controll that with additional parameters added to link url.

    autoplay=0 – to disable autoplay
    rel=0 – to disable related videos

    In a link it would look like:

    https://youtu.be/sGbxmsDFVnE?autoplay=0&rel=0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGbxmsDFVnE&rel=0

    From my experience, autoplay works for embed videos only, rel works for both.
