Autoplay / Autopause

    Hello ,
    I’m trying out your plugin, especially the video block. But I’ve a question/suggestion.
    I now have a video with autoplay and autopause switched on. But when manually set to play the video again, after the first autoplay/autopause sequence, the video stops playing again when going out of viewport.
    Imho this shouldn’t be happening like this.
    Sometimes you want to hear the video anyway without seeing it play and with that setting it’s not possible. But I like the autopause also, but only one time.
    So,
    1)After manually clicked on play, the video shouldn’t stop (autopause) again, when scrolling out of viewport again, because you know what you’re doing by now as a visitor viewing this video.
    (Or create a popup, no lightbox, setting?)
    2)The autoplay function isn’t active anymore after first time. Could this be changed to all the time like autopause, if not manually set to play in the meantime?

    When it comes to have manually switched the sound on/unmuted the video it should respect that and stay on untill manually stopped.
    I hope this make sense?

    Hello @blackboxz,

    1) The autoplay feature is designed to work just that; it will always stop the video when it goes outside the viewport. We plan on adding a new setting where once a video comes outside the viewport, it will automatically keep playing and stick on the bottom corner of your screen. I think that will resolve this issue, correct? How’s that sound?

    2) Do you mean to start playing the video automatically (assuming autoplay is enabled) once it comes back into the viewport?

    When it comes to have manually switched the sound on/unmuted the video it should respect that and stay on untill manually stopped.

    If a video starts as muted/unmuted and the user changes the volume, it should respect the user action and not reset. Let me know if you meant something else.

    Thank you for your feedback. This sort of thing is very difficult to discuss for me through this message section. Being English not my native language.

    Regarding 1) why not disable autopause?

    Regarding 2) We can look into it as we get more requests.
