Autoplay not working on page load

    Hi, i have been using your plugin for a couple of days and is just what i needed, but i had some issues.

Mainly, the autoplay feature doesn't work as i expected, the video plays only when on mouse hover over the video player and not on page load.

I need that the video starts on page load.

  • Hello Ijchique,

    Check if you have Settings -> FV Player -> Integrations/Compatibility -> Optimize FV Flowplayer JS loading enabled. This setting is on by default.

    It helps with faster page loads, however one of the ways it achieves this is by making it so, that FV Player does not get loaded unless the user interacts with the website. You can learn more about it here: https://foliovision.com/player/advanced/optimize-javascript-loading

    So, if you need the video to play on page load without prior interaction, please, disable this setting. There’s no need to worry. FV Player is generally optimized and won’t strain your website much even with this disabled. The purpose of this setting is to achieve minimal interference with page loading speed.
