Autopopulate on Text field

well what do you need to populate the field with?

I have an external form page that have data from a custom field on it. When you click on the submit link it brings up the Caldera Forms page which has a field with the same name on the submit page with the URL formatted like this: https://domain.com/category/?poet_lastname=John%20Betjamin. On the Caldera Forms page the text field called poet_name would have John Betjamin populated in it. That’s how it works on my Gravity Forms page. Just wondered how to replicate this with the Caldera Forms.

The url link should say https://domain.com/category/?poet_fullname=John%20Betjamin

in the field you want autofilled, set the value to {get:poet_lastname}

that will then auto fill the field with the get variable.
