Autopost: Many feed items fetched, very few posts created.

the first thing I would check is if the items are coming in but coming in as scheduled…if they are scheduled then they wouldn’t show up as posts. If they are in the feed items, and not in the scheduled posts, then the next thing to try is manually fetching and see if that brings in the posts. Finally, since you are asking for 2 items, it will always look for the most recent 2 items from each feed, if those haven’t changed, then it won’t bring them in as posts, so try changing if from 2 to, say 4, and see if that brings in more posts (if it does, then that was the problem).

They are all under published yes. Fetching doesn’t seem to be the problem here, it’s really about auto-posting, creating posts from the fetched items in the feed items list.

I’ve changed the settings to 5/40 for testing purposes. Let’s see how it goes. I’ve also duplicated the site onto another server with the same settings to see if it makes a difference.

Is there a button to manually trigger the creation of posts via auto-post? I can see one for manual fetching and database update.

I’m having the same problem. I’m using 3.13 on wordpress 4.0 with athaualpa theme. Everything seems to be working fine up until the autopost. Feed database is updating, most recent items are shown in the datebase, all diagnostic tests are a go. But only sporadic items are making it into autopost. Previous versions of the plugin worked fine. I like the latest features and don’t want to go back to an older version. But this problem is perplexing. I also deactivated all other plugins to test for conflicts. But still no go. I’m using a cron control plugin which has helped. But still a trickle of autoposts. Finally, autopost is not bringing in photos like it used to, even though the feed lists show photos with the items.

Something is wrong somewhere. I now got 131 posts published while there are 318 items in the feed items list. Server doesn’t seem to be the cause here as the other test site on the other server has pretty much the same result.

I was gonna post my own thread about this but it seems to be fairly common. I’m seeing posts successfully come in but they don’t make it over to the post drafts I have set up within the plugin. For example, I’m seeing a post within the plugin’s “feed items” and some of them make it over to the posts as drafts (which is my preference, of course) but the majority do not. I’ve been tweaking my settings via suggestions on this page but to no avail:

I have 61 feeds and have the setting set to bring in five feeds with total of number post entries per fetch at 400.

I am also experiencing problems with my Feed Items AutoPosting. My feed is being collected on schedule and they are showing in the Feed Items database. I just can not get them to show on the AutoPost list. I was able to get the first batch over after clicking fetch items and update database and any other buttons I could find… but I am really not sure what the magical combination was to make them Autopost and show up in the website Post section. I really can not seem to recreate it and get the AutoPosts to work. Please help! I really do not want to have to change the plugin. I have the Fetch Quantity set to 100/300 to make sure I have more than enough.

Hi all. My issue is identical to previous poster. After initial setup and selecting my settings in AutoPost, I imported the first feed and sent it to posts. All posts were listed and accounted for and appeared just perfectly on my front-end. Two days later I am still trying to replicate that. I can import what I like which appear in my Posts menus, but I cannot get anything to move through to an actual post on the site.

Would be interested as well.

What is the maximum of feeds and items (posts) this plugin can handle?

Same probem for me. It fetch the feeds and post it in the feed items, but autopost doesnt seem to fetch any new post since my first and only batch.

Since everyone is experiencing similar issues with autopost, it is buggy and does not work as designed.

I was never able to get AutoPost to work correctly or receive support for the plugin. I forfeited working with the plugin and am using FeedWordPress, Feedwordpress Advanced Filters, FeedWordPress Duplicate Post Filter, Delete Duplicate Posts Pro (Unlimited) to meet my need. Support has been good for these products as well.
