    hi @royz4u; well, you can download the beta and give it a spin, trying to find bugs? ??

    fyi; I just uploaded the first version to the www.ads-software.com repository, so you can download the latest autoptimize from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/autoptimize.zip

    looking forward to getting questions, bug reports, translations and congratulations on what will surely become the best autoptimize to date! ??

    Been testing for a few days – Would love to highlight some bugs but unfortunately I am having 0 issues.

    Keep up the great work.

    that’s the best feedback I could hope for @azzx, thanks ??

    so just added a feature; optimization of your shop’s cart/ checkout is now an option you can disable (support for woocommerce, easy digital downloads and wp ecommmerce).

    go for the github-version if you want to test that, will push to www.ads-software.com tomorrow (got to sleep now ?? )

    latest version pushed to www.ads-software.com svn trunk, download here

    Just gave it a little install and run and no obvious issues. I’ll keep an eye out but everything looks good.

    Thank you Frank for improving. Unfortunatelly it works not good on my site. I can switch on HTML opt., but when I switch on CSS opt. it crashes the site to something that looks like Frontpage 2000. With the old version it was just fine.
    I came up to this post because I tried to run my autoptimzed site with UpdraftCentral, which don’t want to run with Javascript opt. Maybe you can have a look at these issues too.

    thanks for the feedback @ralfm!

    regarding AO 2.2 & the frontpage 2000 look (the horror); would you happen to have a non-production site where you could install AO 2.2 on so I could investigate what is going on?

    regarding updraftcentral; I don’t know it, but if I understand correctly, it allows one to manage multiple wordpress sites, correct? I assume for that it uses pages behind /wp-admin/ (which should work as AO isn’t active there) but maybe also some functionality on the frontend and that could where JS optimization breaks stuff. Now what could help there is AO 2.2’s new option not to optimize for logged in users (with “edit_post” capabilities), did you by any chance try that?

    frank

    Hey Frank,

    AutoOptimize plugin delete spaces in the selectors like “.element1.element2.element3” and it break this plugin.

    thanks @waspthemes, but somewhat surprised as I have not ever seen CSS like

    .element1 .element2 .element3 {a:b;}
    being optimized to
    .element1.element2.element3{a:b;}

    (I just tested to be absolutely sure)

    Can you confirm this is the problem you (or your users) are seeing and if not describe in more details what is happening?

    and what version of AO are we talking about here, the current 2.1 or the future 2.2?

    frank

    Hi Frank,

    I downloaded your new version (2.1.99) because I adore this plug-in and I am having a small issue.

    I have been trying to create above the fold css and have not gotten it quite right. Flashes a black web structure menu. I am having difficulties figuring out if my changes work because I can not get the cache to fully clear. Will go down to 19 but than quickly back to 44. I do not have aggravate js or css checked. Is it supposed to do that?

    Cheers!

    yes, AO 2.2 (or 2.1.99) has automatic cache warming to speed things (considerably) up and that results in cache-files being created immediately ??

    @royz4u, @azzx, @waspthemes, @tjavin and anyone who would read this; AO 2.2 will very likely be released next Sunday (day after WordCamp EU). As the beta has seen some changes, it would be great if you could redownload the beta (from GitHub or the “trunk”-version of the www.ads-software.com SVN) and test?

    thanks!
    frank

    If it has changed since a a week ago, I can download again and test. I ran it on a test system with about 60-70 plugins.
