    i found this error on wordpress logs

    OK, some questions @luito;
    * what version of Autoptimize are you on?
    * did this work before?
    * if it worked before, when did it break?
    * does your host(er) by any chance stop reqeusts to the outside world (AO fetches an RSS-file to populate the “optimize more”-tab?

    (the undefined index one is harmless and has been fixed on the development build already, will be part of AO 2.3.2. if you want you can download the update from github here)

    @luito some more questions (as I honostly have no idea what is causing this);
    * can enable WP_DEBUG as per these guidelines to see if you get more info on the problem?
    * can you deactivate AO, delete it and then reinstall?
    * if that does not work, can you download the previous version of AO and see if that “fixes” it for you?

    I got same issue since last update. I currently disable the Autoptimize plugin and no more 502 error. With the previous version I never got this issue.

    Hello Frank.
    I found the problem, is a conflic between W3 Total Cache plugin and Autoptimize.
    Still I cant fix.

    (@optimizingmatters)

    ah … are all W3TC minification options deactivated?

    Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    (@optimizingmatters)

    just installed W3TC and ticked almost all options, but still can’t reproduce I’m afraid.

    from my side I don’t have the W3 Total Cache plugin, but other cache plugin: WP Super Cache

    (@optimizingmatters)

    me too @nechry, no issues there either. I’m afraid I’m completely in the dark here, can you provide me with feedback on my questions here?

    @ optimizingmatters as you proposed, I deactivate AO (this step already done), delete it and then reinstall.

    from now I did not got the error 502, so wait and see. Last time in 5 minutes I got the error and a restart nginx is not enough to resolve I always have to reboot the host.

    Minify module is desactivated.
    I found the problem maybe is a error in object cache from W3 total cache.
    Something in the update from WordPress, Autoptimize or W3 total cache.
    I working to find the problem.

    Since I previously have the issue, I get this entry in my log file:
    2018/01/04 06:48:33 [error] 10856#10856: *784773 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: 51.15.xx.xx, server: mysite.com, request: “GET /?ao_speedup_cachebuster=34252 HTTP/1.1”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock”, host: “mysite.com”, referrer: “https://mysite.com/?ao_speedup_cachebuster=34252”

    refer to log /var/log/nginx/mysite.com.error.log.1

    ever and ever

    ah, but that is an error I know of (and which is fixed on the development version) @nechry. I bet you’re using an external object cache (redis or memcached)? try this zip file (github) which has a fix for that and let me know if that fixes things.
