• Hello All, Dear Frank!

I would like to ask that could you help me solve my caching problem which gets huge very fast because I do not know what to do even when I read the FAQs…

My website was working like a charm since my last issue and the loading time was average 740ms fast all the time, but since (like one mounts ago) my website loading time is average 3700ms, which is a huge difference.

Nothing else change that updating the Autoptimize and activating a new plugin called Thrive Leads, but since I see that my Cache size is getting over 1GB per day.
Could someone look on it, maybe he/she can see what is the problem with it?

    My website is:

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards,
    Antal

    Hello Sven, hello All!

Thank you for your proposal, it looks like this part is working now…

I configured the Autoptimze as you mentioned, but now the only thing is not working is the Advanced post slider plugin.
I tried to add all the js files of the plugin to the the exclusion of the Autoptimize but it is still not working.

You can see the post slider on the home page in the middle!

Could you please look into it if it is possible, but anyway thank you for taking the time before and thank you for the previous suggestion!

    Best regards,
    Antal

    you seem to be deferring your excluded JS Antal;

    <script type='text/javascript' defer src='https://www.napelemek-napkollektorok.hu/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js'></script> <script type='text/javascript' defer src='https://www.napelemek-napkollektorok.hu/wp-content/plugins/advanced-post-slider/js/advps.frnt.script.js'></script> <script type='text/javascript' defer src='https://www.napelemek-napkollektorok.hu/wp-content/plugins/advanced-post-slider/bxslider/jquery.bxslider.min.js'></script> <link rel='https://api.w.org/' href='https://www.napelemek-napkollektorok.hu/wp-json/' />

chance is small that you can defer the individual JS-files if they can’t be autoptimized really ..

    hope this helps,
    frank

    Hello Frank!

Thank you for your fast reply!

I disabled the js defer now.
All the plugins are working now but I get a “very bad” score on Pagespeed Insights.

Could you please take a look on it!

Thank you very much for your help!

    Actually Frank!

    Now it looks good!
I put out the JS script exclusion, and now looks like everything is coming together!

I will report if there is a change, but it looks like it is good!

Thank you all for the help!

    Best regards,

    It was a bad call!

It is not working if I put out these JS files from the exclusions, but If I exclude those files than I get a bad score!

Is there anything can be done about this issue?

It is now excluded and no defer, so the score is not good!
(The score decrease is because of the js/jquery/jquery.js file.)

    Thank you Frank!

    Best regards,
    Antal

if your “advanced post slider” breaks when autoptimizing all JS and if it breaks when you defer, then clearly the slider JS has a problem with being performance optimized. so maybe ask that plugin’ developers for help? ??
