I am using RankMath SEO. During SEO Analysis, it has detected that the plugin Autoptimize plugin is publicly visible. What does it mean? It is quite surprising that none of the other plugins that I am using are on their visible list. Is there any option to disable the visibility option? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I don’t know what it means, you should ask Rankmath ??

If the “problem” is that there is “autoptimize” in the filenames, then that can be tweaked, see the AO FAQ for more info.

    hope this helps,

    hello Frank,

Thank you for the response. I am in touch with RankMath. As per them their SEO tool flags up plugins which they claim to have any security issues. Is there any option in Autoptimize to hide it from external parties?

    that’s … — undiplomatic rant removed —

I have yet to hear about security issues with the current version of AO, can you ask them to share any concern with me (frank-at-optimizinmatters-dot-com) ?

yes, as per the FAQ you can change the URL of optimized JS/ CSS not to have autoptimize in it any more.

Sure, I will request RankMath to contact you.

I have found a plugin to hide Autoptimize.

Thank you for taking your valuable time to address my query. I really appreciate it.
