Autoptimize plugin give font error when is used with any cache plugin

I need to find some references for evalutions of each steps, that’s why i compair numbers ??
In fact, as practic, the pages are open faster without some misc. optimisation, and for Critical Path CSS i don’t find that css in the inspect page to could put in the generator frame to have a test…could find it for me, thanks.

That css was created when i check the agregate css, if uncheck it this influence the web site?

for creation of the above the fold CSS? no, it’s the same CSS basically, just combined ??

Meanwhile i have use silocity site, that extract from webpage the css path, after i have put that code in the AO and activated, pls check if have done something, thanks for your support.

well, doesn’t look too bad ?? you can remove <style> at the start and </style> at the end of the critical CSS, those are not needed ??

Hi, now i have removed <style> from critical css. With last settings page size is more than 3 Mb and the gtmetrix score is 13 sec B4 C73 and pagespeed 53 for desktop and 21 for mobile.
As see the cache from AO it was around 234 Mb and on PageSpeed at diagnosis mentione that:
– Serve static assets with an efficient cache policy 35 resources found (like https://landing.kptv.ro/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_258708aca093d2f0c12dfee61acfa879.css
https://landing.kptv.ro/wp-content/themes/pennews/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff2?v=4.7.0, and some jpg’s)
– Avoid an excessive DOM size 3,325 elements (as details it says that “Consider reducing the time spent parsing, compiling and executing JS. You may find delivering smaller JS payloads helps with this”)
This can be adjusted from AO? Thanks for support.

What u mean by “less pagebuilder-magic” the theme is a kit that i use from wordpress, how can i edit inside theme?

less visual composer/ vc addons, less divs, less nested elements, less fancy effects/ background images/ … there’s no one size fits all answer here, but the amount of DOM elements is amongst some of the highest I have seen to be honest, which indicates the page is too complex to render efficiently (esp. on mobile) :-/

I see, but i use only what was on theme template nothing else, that’s why i ask. Now remain in discussion which plugins are a must to use to have a smaller site.
From this point of view, i guess that even if i use the theme plugins is the same, because as i remember from the begining, this heavy load of the pages was a problem, but at that time i have no optimize used.
You mean that i must to cut off addon’s for visual builder that use (WPBakery Page Builder, Gutenberg and addons…)? Do you think this could be a try to reduce DOM’s?

well, even the amount of elements you add to a page impact the DOM size.

and having pagebuilder addons do add JS to the page, so that impacts perf. as well, yes.

Can i setup a cdn on AO and if yes what cdn platform that have some free plans do you recommend to use with AO? Thanks for support.

The CDN-field in AO is only used for the Autoptimized resources, so if you want to also put other resources on a CDN you might have to choose other solutions. With regards to “what CDN platform”; bunnycdn is a popular newcomer, keycdn an experienced and reliable player and stackpath the big name ??
