Autoptimize preload feature not adding line to

Dear team,
I want to preload my fonts, and added the URL to the font library to AO under “Extra”. But even after clearing all caches (AO, WP super Cache and BeaverBuilder), I can’t find the expected “<link rel=preload>” anywhere in my code.
Is there a setting I have to disable in AO for it to add that line to my <head>?
Running WP 5.4.2 and AO 2.7.6
