the 2nd option you mean? just change your browser URL to https://yoursite.url/wp-admin/options.php to get a long screen like this one;

ah, my mistake; I was apparently posting in the wrong thread, sorry about that.

forget about what I wrote about wp-admin/options.php, this does not apply here. what you instead need to do is go to the “async javascript” plugin settings and in there make sure the jQuery is NOT deferred/ asynced.
