Autorenew failed 20 minutes ago, now pay 3x as much???

Some time ago, I made a bulk purchase of keys. I guess a few months ago, there was a mix up when I was changing a key over from one domain to another, I think the auto-renew unset itself.
At exactly noon today, I get an email saying that key didn’t auto-renew, “click here to renew”. When I go in to renew, I’m being told that in order to renew the key that expired 20 minutes prior, I now have to pay the same price as a single site, which doesn’t seem right especially if I already have bulk keys. I tried changing it back to auto-renew, that didn’t do anything.
Guess I was hoping that they had the same kind of consideration that I have for my customers by allowing a 24 hour (or more) grace period to get it taken care of without penalty.
My question is – doesn’t anybody know how to get it to renew at the bulk rate and not the single rate? Or do I have to move this domain to my one of my last available keys and lose that key?
Yes, I know they have premium support for this – but that’s only available M – F 8am – 5pm, EST. And it’s Saturday. Soooooooo…. Yeah. I was just kind of hoping somebody else has had this problem and knows what to do. :-/
