Autoresizing In Widget Green Monster

My far right widget CONTACT US is automatically resizing my tiny icons for contact (facebook, instagram, etc) to being the width of the widget – how do I disable this?

Also, when you click on a menu item up top (ABOUT US, SERVICES, etc), the moment after you click the background around the word is DARK GREEN – how do I get rid of this darn green?
