    Hi there,

I have what I believe to be the latest version (3.16) and my autoresponder gets sent upon clicking submit. Meaning the recipients receive it even if they change their mind leave the paypal page without paying or if they have insufficient funds.

I know about the INP “solution” but I thought you had come up with a workaround in version 3.16?

Also, my payment listing page only shows the default tab, no other options (and payments appear multiple times.

I can pm you the URL with the form.

    Regards

  • I did try to find a solution but they only way to confirm payment is using IPN.

If you are using PayPal for business you should be using Business or Premier account anyway which means IPN is already available.

Hi Aerin, could you clarify a little…

Does this mean if I’m using PayPal for Business & QPP that the autoresponder will only trigger on successful payment?

Or that you’re better off using IPN period and not using autoresponder in QPP?

    Thanks
    Sean

IPN is independent of the autoresponder.

IPN will trigger after payment if enabled

The autoresponder can be sent after form submission or after payment has cleared. The second option will obviously only work if IPN is enabled.

    Hope this makes sense.

Yes that helps : ) thanks for clarifying Aerin and for your efforts creating the plugin, very much appreciated!

    No probs
