Autoresponder on sending one newsletter to wrong user role

Ok I downloaded the plugin MailPoet to my website. It allows you to send autoresponders when a user signs up. I have two different sign up forms for two different user roles. In the beginning it wouldn’t send anything at all. So I set up a CRON job and it worked fine for a few days. Both roles got separate emails when they signed up. The two different roles are mentor and student. Now when I sign up as a mentor or student, it will only send the student autoresponder. If I disable the student autoresponder, it doesnt send anything.
