    Hello,

I am using 3 other payment gateways and all of these i have set to autorize payment only and order status is then set to processing automatically.

I can not get this to work with Stripe. If i set it to autorize payment it takes order status on hold / awaiting payment.

The problem with this is that i am using “on hold / awaiting payment” when i need to edit an order so i have disabled emails for this order status to avvoid customers getting the lots of on hold emails when i do edit/saving order. This also means that Stripe users does not get their order confirmation which is sent on processing.

Is there any way around this?

Hi @metuza – When the Stripe payment gateway is set to authorize, orders made via Stripe will have the status on hold – this is by design as you’ve noticed.

As a workaround, you might need a plugin like WooCommerce Custom Order Status Manager which allows you to create custom status and determine when those order emails are sent.
