    Will the idle detection/auto save function only work if a person hasn’t done anything in the BPDocs for 30 minutes, or will auto-save work every 30 minutes no matter what? Is there a way to turn on insta-save like in Google docs or auto-save every two minutes or something for the user who isn’t used to saving frequently and types in BPDocs instead of just pasting from other word processor?

    Yes, the built-in behavior will save the doc if the user is idle.

    The behavior you’re suggesting is an interesting idea (if the hosting server is up for it). I think all the filters are in place such that if you were to work with a developer you could modify the behavior to get the result you’re looking for.
