Autosave is the WORST if you got unstable connection

  • I hate writing caps, but…

    I’m HATING the autosave option.

    I’m traveling thoruhg Kirgyzstan and the wifi are often poor.

    And I’m waiting hours and hours of time reloading pages, looking for saved versions, and retyping old content.

    Please remove this continuos autosave.

  • By default the autosave is every 1 minute.

    You can edit your wp-config.php file and define a longer period

    e.g.

    define('AUTOSAVE_INTERVAL', 3600); // 3600 seconds = 1 hour
