    Hi,

    How can I make aUdioigniter to autostart/autoplay a playlist when a page is rendered?

    Hello, this is not possible in this version of the theme. We’re still deciding about this feature and I’ll keep you posted in this thread about it. Thanks for your comment!

    Hi again, after a lot of back and forth we’ve decided not to implement this feature as autoplaying songs on page load is generally considered a very bad practice and we wouldn’t like to be advocates of bad user experiences. Apart from that, autoplaying sounds is not possible in mobile devices (the operating systems do not allow it) and we wouldn’t be able to provide a consistent behavior between platforms.

    I hope you understand our reasoning and thanks for using AudioIgniter!

    You definitely should include autoplay despite your opinion. For a musician website, this is a deal breaker, despite the inability to autoplay on mobile devices.
