I am a fairly happy user of Slides & Presentations Version 0.0.39, although I do have a couple of support issues outstanding. I am wondering how much to commit to it, as it is fairly new and I still have quite a few presentations that I need to port away from an older unsupported environment.

I am a (not very happy) user of Avada, and try to keep away from the Fusion Builder aspect of it. (It has trouble working with the Gutenberg block editor, which I am beginning to like.) I have now upgraded to Avada 6.2, Fusion Core 4.2, Fusion Builder 2.2.

You probably cannot answer this, and I will address it with Avada people, but I thought it worth logging here in case anyone else comes across it. I now get a message on every slide when editing my presentation:
‘Your site does not include support for the ‘slide/slide’ block. You can leave this block intact, convert its contents to a Custom HTML element or remove it entirely.’

Presumably, there is something about the new version of Avada that conflicts with S&P’s and Gutenberg’s registration of the slide/slide block?

The presentation itself seems still to work OK, but it is not as easy to edit.

Avada did not reply to me but they seem to have solved this issue anyway by patching.
[Just for reference I suspect it was Fusion Builder Patch #417598 – “Fixes library elements not being available for non-admin users”.]
