    Hi @forge12!

It looks like your plugin is not applied to the Avada form on the “Contact” template.

At least I couldn’t see it in the markup.

Any ideas how to fix this?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    All the best
    Torsten

    Hi @zodiac1978,

please ensure you have enabled the spam protection for Avada within the Settings: Forge12 Spam Protection > Avada Forms > Enable Honeypot Protection.

The code of the form does look more like a comment form. Are you sure this is an Avada form created with the Avada Form Builder (Avada > Forms)? Therefor, please also enable the protection for the comments within the settings: Forge12 Spam Protection > Comments > Enable Honeypot Protection.

If both does not work, we can look into the issue. Therefor, it would be required that you create a copy of your side with duplicator and send us the installer.php and zip file.

    Best Regards
    Marc

    Hi @forge12

    thanks four fast answer!

    This is of course enabled.

As my client is using the contact template, this will not help as this is not a comment form.

Please see https://theme-fusion.com/documentation/avada/how-to/how-to-set-up-a-contact-page/ about what I’m talking.

I don’t think I can do this (Privacy of my clients’ data) and I think this is also not allowed here in the forums. And as you advertise compatibility with Avada, I think you have a copy to test this locally.

    Appreciate your ongoing help!

    Hi @zodiac1978

Thanks for your feedback. We published an update which will add the honeypot and filter protection to the contact template. Unfortunatelly Avada is not offering any filter hook that we can use to display a formatted spam message. Therefor, we had to use the default wp_die function within WordPress to block the request.

I hope this will solve your problem. If you face any issues, do not hesitate to contact us again.

    Best regards
    Marc
