I am using the Avada theme.

I have created one container that has one column with a background that appears only on desktop and tablet, and another column with a different background only for mobile. The same H1 title is present in both. Obviously, only one of these columns appears at a time, depending on the device.

    Yoast is indicating that:

Single title: H1s should only be used as your main title. Find all H1s in your text that aren’t your main title and change them to a lower heading level!

Is it possible to correct this issue?

    Thank you.

The Yoast plugin expects the only H1 on the page to be the post title. When you add even a single H1 inside the post content area, the plugin will give you a warning about multiple H1s on the page.

While checking the page source of the given page, we have noticed only a single H1 which is good. Please know that even though Yoast SEO is showing warnings as long as you know you have added the right content like h1, internal links, images, etc., so will Google. Google will still be able to scan the source code of the page. We suggest ignoring it as you only have 1 H1 title.

    Thank you very much.

Might I ask how you scanned the page? I would check a few other pages myself.

    Thank you!

    Hi @swmri

You can view the source code of your page by following the steps here – https://yoast.com/help/view-page-source-site/

We then tried to look for the “<h1” heading for that post or page that you referred to in the source code. Since it’s only showing a single H1, we can confirm that it’s a false positive, so please do disregard this particular assessment of the Yoast SEO plugin for the multiple H1 warnings.
