Avada (Probably Catalina) issue

  • I’ve updated to Catalina. I can no longer install plugins or update the Avada theme. User in httpd.config is _www, and so is group. The folders are set to
    User: (mylogin)
    Group: ( _www) … both without brackets.

    Is this an Avada issue, WordPress issue or Apache issue? I cannot install any plugins or themes at all… although, I was able to do a WordPress install via the command line. I suspect something to do with the Catalina update to MAC, becuase I had something like 20 Virtual Hosts all running correctly, and now the old ones don’t work, and the two new ones can’t be updated or have new plugins installed.

    I’m using a registered copy of Avada, but cannot even install Yoast via the plugins page.
