Avada theme not showing loader on CF7

It looks like there was a change between 1.1 and 1.2.1 which is preventing Avada’s loader from showing when a CF7 form is submitted. I think it has something to do with the way that this plugin is preventing all event propagation after the submit button is clicked. I’m wondering if it’s enough to simply return false, but still allow event propagation?
