Avada Toggles

    My website is using Avada and the page in question uses the Toggle / Accordion function built into Avada. This site also uses the LDD Directory Lite Plugin.

    The toggles are not all remaining open (eg. the bottom one for example).

    It would appear that it is a Bootstrap conflict between Avada and LDD as when I turn off the Bootstrap from LDD within the LDD settings it all starts to function properly. However by doing this the visual appeal of the Categories and Search bar which is part of LDD on https://cheshire-directory.co.uk/listings/architecture/ looks awful.

    Can anyone help? What CSS do I need from the LDD bootstap in order to retain the nice styling of the search etc.

  • I’m new to this plugin, but it appears to be using an older version of Bootstrap 3+ than the current version, which is 4+, and there are some significant differences in the CSS classes the most recent version of Bootstrap uses. If your Avada template uses a newer version of Bootstrap it could create conflicts in how things display.

    Ideally, the LDD plugin would use the most recent version of Bootstrap and scrap the old CSS classes, but that would necessitate a rewrite of a lot of the LDD templates.

    Thank you for using our plugin. We have plans to update much of the plugin in the near future.

    Please keep the ability to randomize the directory. Currently, this is the only program I have found with that ability and it is needed on the site I am working on.
