    Hi,

No matter my settings, i still get “in stock” for all products in my google shopping feed.

    “<g:availability>in stock</g:availability>
    <g:availability_>in stock</g:availability_>”

I tried changing “g:availability” from “availability” to “Stock [quantity]”, no difference. I also tried adding a filter “if stock is less than 1 – Availability: out of stock”. Also didnt work

What is the problem? Im running shopping ads for products that are out of stock ??

i see in the debug file that they are mapped correctly, but they are not output that way in the feed

    Hi,

Thanks for sending over the debug.log. I noticed not all categories are mapped or not mapped fully. It might not be related but could you map all categories and see if it makes any difference?

    Hi,

It does not seem to make a difference. I have bulk edited products in/out of the categories, updated category page. removed and re-added category mapping. cleared all caches.

I guess last resort is deleting categories and creating them again, but would rather not do that

    Thread Starter nikeri

    (@nikeri)

when i create a new feed the mapping seems to work however, is that my solution..?

That should not make any difference when your feed configurations are identical

    Thread Starter nikeri

    (@nikeri)

configurations are identical, but the changes do not take effect on the old feed it seems. Im creating a new one now for test, just copying the mappings

    Thread Starter nikeri

    (@nikeri)

Upon creating a new feed, only 1 category out of around 10 mapped categories is mapped in the generated .xml

Where should i look to to solve this? would it be a caching issue?

    Hi,

Did you map all your categories? If not please make sure you do the full category mappings where you map all your WooCommerce categories to those of Google.

    Thread Starter nikeri

    (@nikeri)

    Hi,

Not all mapped, but why does that matter?

Im trying to figure out why changing the mappings arent reflected in the .xml

Currently im managing to get some re-mapped correctly, but i still cant figure out what im doing that is working. Im now trying to
    1. Remove mapping
    2. Refresh feed
    3. Add new mapping

I am now noticing, some fields are mapped correctly in merchant center, but not the same as in the feed settings. Seems as if mappings arent saved properly.

    For example;
    Category: Sunglass Chains
    Mapped in Merchant Center: 8204
    Mapping in generated feed: 2521
Mapped in Feed Settings: “2521 – Health & Beauty > Personal Care > Vision Care > Eyewear Accessories”

Im getting more and more confused..

Are you sure your feed is getting updated/refreshed properly? Have you tried adding a test field to your feed (for example a custom label field and map a random attribute to it) and manually reprocess your feed. Does the newly added field show in your feed after processing is done?

    Thread Starter nikeri

    (@nikeri)

As i said, it seems it isnt updated/refreshed properly. How do i go with fixing this?
Some categories are still not categorizable/mappable, in the feed they stay the same no matter what i do.

I just created a mapping for attribute (color) to see if it gets updated in the feed and started a refresh. Will get back to you with results

    (@nikeri)

    **
I can confirm adding a mapping for attribute works and shows up in feed. However, the products with non functioning category mappings are still mapped wrong. Any ideas?

    Mapped in Merchant Center: 8204
    Mapping in generated feed: 2521
Mapped in Feed Settings: “2521 – Health & Beauty > Personal Care > Vision Care > Eyewear Accessories”

This really shouldn’t be possible. When it shows 2521 in your feed then for that product it really also should be 2521 in your merchant center.

Questions that pop to mind are:

    • Are you sure you are looking at the right product in your merchant center?
    • Are you uploading the correct feed into your merchant center?
    • Did the feed in your merchant center got updated or is it somehow showing old product data?
    Thread Starter nikeri

    (@nikeri)

Yes all of those are correct. My issue is the feed is not updated properly (the .xml generated by plugin). Please forget about that, i just didnt refresh merchant center. Better if you focus on the newer messages

    The problem/issue that is unsolved:
Some categories are unmappable by the plugin.

    What i have tried:
    Clearing caches
    Removing mapping and re-adding
Mapping all categories (as per your request, just made more issues unfortunately)
    Clearing transients, recounting terms
Removing and readding all products that belong to category

Now after mapping every category (as per your request) i have ended up with correct subcateogry mappings being changed to the mappings of parent categories.
    For example:
Fashion < Sunglasses was correctly mapped to google product category sunglasses before.
Now after mapping parent category (which contains no products, only subcategories), sunglasses have instead ended up in google product category “apparel” which the parent category is mapped to

As this seems unsolvable, i guess i will try my luck with another plugin..

Upon creating a new feed, the previously unmappable (old feed) categories are mappable. However, now other categories are not mappable. They simply do not get a mapping even tho added
