Avatar icon/user name click only working for admin profiles??

Hi watermanpc,
As you know, WordPress default User Profile page is a page where you only can see a list of posts he/she has published, nothing else. There is not any profile information on that page. So, wpDiscuz make clickable the Username/Avatar of all users which have at least one post. If user doesn’t have some posts his Username/Avatar is not clickable, because the profile page for those users will be just the “Not Found” page. This is the reason why not all members have a clickable Username/Avatar.

also Im using Ultimate Member plugin fyi

wpDiscuz doesn’t support Ultimate Member yet. It only supports these Profile Plugins:

Plugin Name | Integration type

BuddyPress – Avatar, Profile page
Users Ultra – Avatar, Profile page
UserPro – Avatar, Badges, Profile page

With these plugins all users username/avatars are clickable and directed to their profile page.

…also I forgot to say that if possible it would be great to be able to make “click” on ANY user without the need to have at least one post as for example my users cant make posts…so just redirect all users avatars/names clicks to their profiles (in my case UM profiles)…again many thanks mates!!!

If you use UserPro it should be automatically linked you don’t need to edit something. If it’s not linked please provide some example URL and UserPro version you use.

Someting wrong on your end, this may be theme problem or just UserPro configuration issue.

We found that all profile URLs are wrong even in UserPro Member directory page, screenshot: https://screencast.com/t/1AtqwM6ewh

Please go to Dashboard > UserPro > Setup Pages admin page and make sure all looks like this, screenshot: https://screencast.com/t/wzpKCf3s9qz
Also click on the [Save Changes] button and clear caches if you have a cache plugin, then check.

If it doesn’t help try to click [Reset Options] button. And check again after clearing caches.

If all those don’t help it means you have other post or page with /profile/ slug, this may be slug conflict, try to change those. If all are clear please contact to UserPro team and ask for support. Say profile URLs don’t work on your site. You can show them this example page: https://rumbalife.com/members/

This problem can also be caused by other plugins, or theme. Please try to use default theme. If it will not be fixed, you should deactivate all plugins one by one excerpt wpDiscuz and UserPro and check again.

wpDiscuz works fine, we have nothing to fix here, problems comes from your UserPro/Wordpress integration.
