It looks like “SSL Insecure Content Fixer” plugin blocks all avatar images. Is there a workaround to display avatars ?

    Hey vreezer,

Are you using the latest version of the plugin? There were a few cases where links were being created using “http” instead of “https” but that should have been fixed back in version 1.2.4.

Do you have a link I can take a look at?

    Thanks,

    Craig

    Hi Craig,
thank you for looking into this.
You can find the timeline integration here: https://cords-illustration.de/
I’m using the latest version of the plugin.

It works with chrome, but firefox (I guess activity tracking) blocks it.
Issue: Missing Avatar images in reposts and header (my own avatar).

    Many thanks in advance

Ahh yes that makes sense. Firefox’s private browsing mode seems to block images served from Twitter’s CDN (like we use). We might change how this works in the future but that is the issue you are running into.

Let me know if you have more questions!

Would be cool, if there will be a workaround someday. It looks like a few people are using these firefox settings. However, many thanks for the heads-up.
